BSRIA Briefing 2010 - Engineering Low Carbon Communities
What is the BSRIA Briefing?
The BSRIA Briefing is a long established event in the construction calendar where delegates can network, become more informed and entertain. At the Briefing we bring together high profile speakers from our industry to discuss and debate a key topic. The Briefing is followed by lunch and a guest speaker.
The Briefing 2010- Engineering low Carbon Communities
Achieving carbon reduction targets in the UK will require work at a community scale, and not just on individual buildings. Just some of the questions needed to be addressed are:
- How does role of the building services engineer fit in this?
- How can the construction teams deliver a whole community solution?
- Where can you get a market edge from being involved in community based solutions now?
All of these questions and more will be answered at the BSRIA Briefing. Where we will look at engineering innovations in the UK and elsewhere. Innovations that are practical, carbon friendly, profitable and exciting and can be provided on a community scale. They do however pose very strategic challenges in order to be realised.
