Knowledge transfer network for the modern built environment (MBE KTN)
BSRIA focuses on technologies for the offices sector of the Knowledge Transfer NetworkThe MBE KTN is a UK Government initiative. The project's key aim is to stimulate collaboration between research groups and the built environment industry in order to speed up technology development process and deliver practical innovations by:
- identifying key industry drivers and challenges
- identifying research and knowledge gaps
- facilitating innovation that offers technology and process solutions
- brokering meetings to help accelerate innovation to the point of use
- sharing knowledge through the MBE KTN website and at networking events
BSRIA along with Arup, BRE and CIRIA are the four partners involved in the MBE KTN programme each focusing in a specialised area:
- offices (BSRIA)
- knowledge management (Arup)
- healthcare (BRE)
- infrastructure (CIRIA)
