Facilitated workshops

BSRIA recommends the use of independently facilitated workshops. These can tease out stakeholder requirements that might otherwise remain hidden, and expose and match the often competing expectations of the end users and the design team.

Commissioning plans

BSRIA provides bespoke advice on commissioning requirements based on our guide Model Commissioning Plan (BG8/2009).

Energy and metering strategy

BSRIA provides a robust approach to setting up an energy monitoring process. We can advise on zoning, on sub-metering, and on the use of smart meters in a way that will inform you without drowning you in unnecessary data.

BREEAM assessments

BSRIA's team of licensed BREEAM assessors can provide practical advice to improve a building's environmental rating. Soft Landings provides the basis for a targeted BREEAM rating to be achieved in reality.

Airtightness and thermography consultancy

Rather than treating these as purely compliance tests, BSRIA provides consultancy based on a wealth of experience to ensure robust design of the building fabric.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) and SBEM calculations

BSRIA's accredited engineers for energy ratings and CO2 emissions can help buildings comply with mandatory energy reporting. Our engineers can offer practical recommendations for energy efficiency improvement.
